Fleurs des Psaumes (Flowers of the Psalms) is a woman-owned company, florist and New York State Grown and Certified flower farm located in Gouverneur, NY; committed to growing flowers, fruits and trees sustainably for the benefit of our health, the local communities we serve and the planet. We offer a full spectrum of florist services including weddings and tribute flowers.
We practice no-till gardening methods which allows us to continuously build up the soil mycorrhizae (the mutual symbiotic association between fungus and plants), healthy bacteria and plant-based nutrients; we never use harmful pesticides. Always thinking of our pollinator friends; we grow a variety of species specifically beneficial to their entire life cycle.
We offer seasonally-lead floral design, which brings a natural feel to our arrangements, with flowers and foliage harvested directly from our Gouverneur farm’s cutting gardens. We create bespoke wedding florals that have the hand-picked elegance of an Upstate country garden, full of movement, texture and scent (some would say, like a fresh-cut bouquet of wildflowers). Our wedding floral design process starts with a consultation to get to know you as a couple and to explore your esthetic, style and color palette that you’d like for your wedding day flowers.
